Rose is a Los Angeles based writer and director. After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Film and Television program, she moved back to her home town of Los Angeles and began working in film and television development.
Her first film, REFUGEE IS NOT MY NAME won several awards including Best Documentary Short for Global Justice at the 2019 Hollywood Women’s International Film Festival, as well as Best Documentary Short at the 2019 Indie Short Fest. The film was an official selection for the 2019 Women’s International Film & Arts Festival, as well as an official selection for the 2019 Los Angeles CineFest and the 2019 Docs without Borders Film Festival. RINMN also received an Honorable Mention for the IndieFEST Film Awards 2019 Humanitarian Awards.
She is editing a short narrative film titled, A MILLION REASONS WHY, and the episodes she directed of the television series, CLAIRE-ITY are now available for streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
Her upcoming short film, GRACE, NEBRASKA is currently in development.
Rose is constantly inspired by color, light and music, especially of that found organically in nature. Her love of telling deeply human and authentic stories set against surrealist backdrops, fuels her character driven narratives.
